PISTACHIO AFFOGATO


Summer evenings invite you to get together with friends and family and enjoy life. What could be better than a dessert that is not only quick to prepare, but also lets the taste of Italy melt in your mouth? We received a jar of the best Crema di Pistacchio to test from the wonderful people at Cavolobianco  and would like to introduce you to our new favorite recipe: Pistachio Affogato. A perfect dessert for long summer evenings, prepared in just 5 minutes and tastes like amore in a glass.




Pistachio affogato for hot summer evenings


Crema di Pistacchio

Good (vegan) vanilla ice cream

Freshly brewed espresso

Chopped pistachios

Salt flakes (optional)


Take a tablespoon of the delicious Crema di Pistacchio  and spread it in a glass or cup. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and pour hot espresso halfway over the ice cream. Sprinkle the whole thing with a few chopped pistachios and a pinch of salt. Serve immediately and enjoy.
